Carousel Carousel Carousel!
First up,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ESTHER! Celebrated again on her actual day with HIGH TEA BUFFET at CAROUSEL. Can you see how excited I was? hee.

Looking at all these food is making me hungry again. =( I expected only cakes and pastries since it was a high tea buffet, but oh was I wrong. Think sushi, sashimi, cha soba, cold dishes, popiah, laksa, nasi lemak, kebabs, congee and many more! Yum-ness.
Partners in crime for the day: Bebe, Gene and of course the protagonist, Essy!

Pink alien courtesy of Bebe, who got it for Essy's present. We are all fascinated by it's soft soft and huggy characteristics, as you'll see.

Hungry? Hee. Seriously, I'm impressed with Carousel. Good variety of food which is yummy though not exceptional, CHOCOLATE FONDUE, superb service and pretty interior and layout. What's not to love? Especially the smiley and polite waiters and waitresses who look friendly and do their best to serve you all the time. Big difference from the Yum Cha auntie, who Bong and me were damn irritated with, that tsk and frowned at us!
To juxtapose from a year ago, Essy and me wore the same dresses as when I brought her to her virgin visit at Marmalade Pantry(which we all end up falling in love with).

And 2008!

Love for the pink alien!

Then I decided to go for a haircut while the rest fooled around somemore while waiting for me. I regretted cutting my hair la, I feel like I'm balding. =( So little hair to play with now.

Bought materials for door gifts for my celebration and then chilled at Spinele's. Presenting.... versatile fashionista Pink Alien!

Sigh I hate planning for a party. Luckily this time I have my darling Bong and Essy to help. Lub you all dip dip la! Prive later and then drinking, Akira Kasai's Pollen Revolution at Esplanade then Velvet tomorrow, another full weekend for me. How's yours? =)
